Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced multi skilled Service Van Technician who is able to work on both light and commercial vehicles to join our team. As a Service Van Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing various types of vehicles in both workshop and roadside conditions. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work on all types of vehicles.

Responsibilities:
– Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to established guidelines
– Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals
– Weld and fabricate parts as necessary
– Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
– Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Service Van Technician or in a similar role
– Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
– Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
– Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
– Valid driver’s license

Please note: Due to the type of industry we are in this is NOT a Monday to Friday role, it will include evenings and weekends as part of an ON-CALL roster, please don’t apply if you cannot do this
