CLASS 1 DRIVER

RE Recruitment are looking for HGV CE drivers (Class 1) to work for our client in Telford, who specialise in the distribution of fresh and frozen food to wholesalers/restaurants nationwide to join them on an ongoing,

A Pallet Truck will be involved for offloading at customers sites, This is a customer-facing role so are looking for honest, reliable and well-presented individuals to provide a great delivery service.

Working days are Monday – Friday, daytime hours with no weekend work on regular routes. Extra day pay will be given if asked to work weekends. Start times can vary from 0200-0500.

Applicants require a valid Cat CE licence valid DIGI Tacho card and CPC card.

Hourly rates:

CLASS 1 (£15-18)

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
