7.5 Tonne C1 HGV Night Shunter

Our client based on the outskirts of Hereford is looking for 7.5 Tonne C1 HGV night shunter drivers to join them on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

The role involves inter-site shunting with a curtain side HGV C1 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You will be responsibly for safely transporting goods, in a timely manner, in between their two depots. You will have experience in inter-site shunting, or you have had good experience that would make you the ideal candidate to train.

You will require the following skills and attribute:

· Valid UK HGV LGV C1 7.5 Tonne Vehicle (essential)

· CPC qualification card

· Digital Tachograph Card

· No more than 9 points

· Excellent motivation and communication skills

· Hardworking and motivated to succeed.

· Ideally you will have a forklift license with counterbalance (desirable)

· Always looking to go the extra mile.

· This will involve assistance with loading and unloading.

Shift times:

I am looking for drivers to cover a 7 day a week operation. Therefore, I am happy to offer flexibility with days but not times. If you are looking for a full time, part-time or just weekend I can accommodate.

Shift time: 2200 – 0600

Pay:

Monday to Friday – £10.63

Weekend: £13.28

Hours worked over 37.5 will include a shift allowance of £60 per week.
