HGV 1 Driver

We are currently looking for HGV1 Drivers to join the team at our prestigious client based near Chesterfield to provide a high level of service to their customers.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Professional delivery of goods, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Ensuring that all Company vehicles are kept in a good clean condition
Comply with current H&S legislation and Company specific health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
The completion of Vehicle Checklists
With the COVID restrictions now starting to lift, work is increasing and many of our clients are now seeking professional drivers to work in the east midlands delivering across the country

You Must Have;

HGV Class 1 Licence
Current CPC Card
Digi Tacho Card

Please note for insurance purposes you can have no more than 6 Penalty Points on your Licence for minor offences only.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
