We are recruiting a reliable, MOBILE HGV VEHICLE TECHNICIAN for our family-owned fleetcare client based in MINWORTH, B76.
This will be a home-based position and you will be provided with a brand new, fully kitted van with top of the range tools and stock. WE HAVE MULTIPLE POSITIONS AROUND THE WEST MIDLANDS, WARWICKSHIRE, SHROPSHIRE AND STAFFORDSHIRE AREA.
Local interview available
This is a PERMANENT POSITION following a successful interview.

Hours of work:
Variable (to be discussed at the interview)
A typical week is 47.5 hours
21 days holiday + bank holidays (30 days – 2023)
Overtime available (premium paid)

Pay
£18.00ph – £19.00ph

Days of work:
Typically Monday to Friday but the company would discuss a different pattern to suit

Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles and trailers
Routine inspection, servicing, and preventative maintenance (Tyre rotation, oil changes etc….)
Maintaining workshop inventory and good housekeeping
Diagnosing problems
Maintaining repair and service records using an in-house tablet system
Complete relevant paperwork
Emergency on-the-road repairs (if necessary)
Provide training and guidance to new recruits and trainees
PPE and workwear provided
Opportunity to progress within the business
Other duties as required

Required:

City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualified
Workshop or mobile technician experience (if you have no experience but are still qualified, please apply)
UK Drivers Licence
Flexible approach
Ability to work as part of a team
