Pure Staff are currently looking for enthusiastic & experienced HGV C drivers to join our team of flexible employees to work with this specific client.

Our client is a large (well-known) local distribution company that provides distribution services for the horticultural & fresh produce industry.

They currently require 5 ongoing C (Class 2) to work with their current team, this job is longer term for successful candidates.

The job itself can consist of multi drop collection and distribution (long distance) with up to 6 Drops max per day, (5 or 6) days per week within the law and current legislation. This can include some weekend working if you so choose as optional.

Distribution is completed in a Volvo or Merc Axzor with solid sided refrigerated body.

You will be collecting and re-distributing fresh produce to and from growing centres across the UK there is some RDC, NDC

(There is handball on this job however the alloy trollies are light weight and so is the product !)

They are offering several different jobs in HGV C class 2 driving this can be day work with medium distance returning to the yard each night or longer distance Nights are available also.

Our Clients are looking for a candidate that can not only drive HGV C (Class 2) lorry successfully but that can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries / collections are completed.

There is a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

This can be a customer facing role so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients end user has the best experience possible.

Start times can vary but normally Days are between 05:00am and 09:00am shifts can be long hours but in keeping with tachograph law, Nights tend to start between 14:00h or 19:00h

You will require;

HGV C (Class2) Driving licence
CPC Card
Digital thacograph card
Clean Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT MS DR DD) codes
Experience 2 years Min held licence for insurance reasons
Pay;

Days £13.00 per hour PAYE + You will get holiday pay & a pension paid sepratly to the rate

Night £14.00 per hour PAYE + You will get holiday pay & a pension paid sepratly to the rate

NO LIMITED COMPANY CONTRACTORS

T&C’s apply but in general you will receive the payment after 200 hours (about 4 weeks) of work and this is open to anyone who refers a HGV driver
