HGV/Delivery Driver (Class 2)

Rochford

Permanent Full timely

Ready to take the wheel of an exciting new opportunity? We’re seeking an experienced and dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Rochford. If you’re someone who takes pride in safe, courteous driving and enjoys working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Perform pre-use vehicle checks and report any issues.
Safely drive a range of vehicles, delivering and collecting various materials.
Operate vehicles such as vacuum excavators, skip lorries, low loaders, and more.
Handle grab vehicles, assisting with loading and unloading, while following safety procedures and protocols.
Display professionalism and a helpful attitude toward customers and other road users.
All employees are expected to work out of hours and contribute to an on call rota (1 in 3 weeks).
As a team you will assist with general yard maintenance.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Full, clean HGV (Class 2) license.
CPC Driver Qualification, Hiab Certificate, CSCS card is a must!
Experience with a variety of vehicles including vacuum excavators and skip lorries.
Ability to adapt to flexible hours, including occasional weekends and emergency situations.
Previously worked in a similar role and industry.
