PS LTD are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to run out of York.
The work is trunk runs to another hub, tipping and returning to the yard twice per shift. You will be starting at 18:30 and the typical shift length is 12 hours and the work is currently Monday to Friday no weekends.
Requirements:
– HGV Class 1 licence – minimum 6 months experience
– Valid drivers CPC
– Digital tacho card
– Flexible approach to work and a positive attitude toward customer service
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Role:
Vehicle checks completed daily and to report any defects accordingly
Accurately filling in paper work an ensuring all POD’s are signed correctly
Ensuring your load is safe and secure before leaving yard and delivery
Comply with driving hours, rules and regulations
Ensure compliance with all transport driver legislation along with company and site policies and procedures
Avoid stock damage in line with company and site procedures
We offer weekly pay at £14 per hour – paid every Friday

To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
