Product Manager (Contract)

Product Manager: Borrower

The Product team is seeking an exceptional Product Manager to own the roadmap for our retail investor product and take it to the next level.

In this role you will:

• Own the Borrower product roadmap and work with our commercial team to deliver our lofty targets
• Manage a development team’s backlog – write and prioritise stories, manage the backlog
• Work with designers and stakeholders to deliver best-in-class UX
• Work with the mobile app product manager to ensure joined up experience across the web and app
• Make decisions on scope to deliver value in small increments as quickly as possible
• Understand the minimum viable product (MVP) – prioritise what is needed for launch to learn as quickly as possible
• Manage relationships with stakeholders – be the go-to person for a wide range of colleagues, enable fast decision making, keep track of deadlines and agendas
• Analyse data to define, drive & prioritise optimisations and KPIs

Our ideal teammate:

• Experience owning B2C products
• Experience working with senior stakeholders (c-level)
• Passionate about UX and delivering a great customer experience
• Proven experience with managing agile development teams – ideally remotely
• A mindset geared toward data analytics and reporting for measuring success
• The desire and ability to navigate from “what is being asked” to “what is the need”
• Strong, proven problem solving skills
• Solid technical background – understanding of web technologies and software development
• The ability to own product development throughout the entire product lifecycle, particularly the requirement and design phases

Bonus Points For:

• Prior experience with investor products
• Knowledge of SQL
• Engineering or Computer Science degree, or relevant experience
• Genuine interest in finance and especially debt markets
• Experience working on a global project with teams across geographies and time zones
