The role

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Paisley

Shift Pattern: DAYSHIFT HOURS TUES – SAT (INCLUDING OVERNIGHTS)

48 hours per week (ADDITIONAL HOURS MAY BE REQUIRED)

(Newly qualified drivers welcome to apply)

Main Purpose:

The role to ensure home deliveries are made throughout the North East of England and South of Scotland providing a world class service delivering bathrooms and appliances. May deliver on your own or may be a part of a two-man team. Dependant on route, overnights will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering bathrooms and appliances to customers home address

Providing a professional service at all times and always putting our customers needs first

Manually handling heavy materials in a correct and safe manner

Working independently or within a small team to provide an efficient service

Delivering 10 to 20 drops per day

Essential Skills and Experience

Must hold a valid CPC and Digi Card

C on licence with no more than 6 points on licence

Good customer service skills

Polite, approachable, well presented and professional

To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
