HGV Driver (C+E)

Opportunity is just around the corner as Pertemps are recruiting for HGV Driver (C+E) to work for our client based in Scunthorpe to be a part of the core driving team and support the depot with their operation on an ongoing basis. You will be trunking to and from DC to DC, not carrying out store deliveries.

As a HGV Driver (C+E) your duties will include:
Delivering the load safely.
Daily lorry walk round checks
Being the face of the company and acting in a professional manner at all times.

To be a successful HGV Driver (C+E) you will have the following skills and experience:

Be a professional HGV Driver (C+E) in possession of a digital tachograph and CPC qualification card.
Hold a driving licence with a maximum of 6 points, for insurance purposes.
Have a minimum of 180 days of relevant driving experience within the last 2 years, if this is not obtainable, we can arrange an assessment at our Pertemps driving school.

You will be working from Friday until Wednesday each week starting between 13.30 and 19.00

The rate of pay for this HGV Driver (C+E) position is £144 per day (PAYE) or £165 per day (Limited or umbrella).

There is a driving assessment which is unpaid and a two-day induction process paid at £60 per day PAYE and £72 per day for Limited Drivers which needs to be completed prior to starting work, this will be paid at a day rate.

This is an ongoing C+E/ HGV 1 Driver role, which may become permanent. The position may be of interest to people from the following areas, Scunthorpe, Gainsborough, Lincoln, Immingham, Grimsby and Barton on Humber.
