Full Job Description
Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV 1 Drivers (Trampers) in the Immingham area for an established haulage company. You will be required to carry out general haulage deliveries across the country, this will require you to sleep out in the cab, all week from Monday to Friday.
As a HGV 1 Driver your duties will include:
Delivering to customers on a curtain side vehicle
Complying with WTD
Safe delivery of the loads
Competing of relevant paperwork
To be a successful HGV 1 Driver you will have the following skills and experience:
C+E entitlement, Digital Tacho Card and valid CPC qualification.
Experience driving a Class 1 vehicle commercially
Hold a driving licence free of endorsements such as DD’s, DR’s or IN10s.
You will be working days starting from at 06.00 Monday and returning Friday.
The pay for this HGV 1 Driver role will be £15.00ph with a minimum of 8 hours paid per shift. You will be paid a night out rate for each night that you stay in the vehicle which is £25 per night.
