Are you a skilled Class 1 C+E driver with at least 2 years of experience? Do you have what it takes to navigate the roads with precision and professionalism? If so, we want you on our team!

Pertemps Heathrow are currently recruiting for HGV 1 Drivers to work with one of the market leaders in the delivering airfreight transport solutions.

The schedule covers Monday – Sunday 24hrs a day with a variety of shift times are available.

Position: Class 1 C+E Driver

Salary Range: £15.50 – £23.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Sunday Job Description: As a Class 1 C+E driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics team, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods across various destinations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collection and deliveries from various UK Airports
Operating Class 1 vehicles with C+E licenses safely and responsibly.
Route Planning
Planning and executing delivery routes with precision to meet schedules and deadlines.
Load Management
Safely loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.

Adhering to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Vehicle Maintenance
Conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid Class 1 C+E driving license for a minimum of 2 years.
Have a clean driving record and be safety-conscious.
Excellent navigation and map-reading skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full five year checkable work history

Cargo Operative (Level D) (Desirable but not essential)
DBS (Desirable but not essential)

Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule is crucial, including weekends.
