Job Description

Aviation Recruitment Network Limited have an Airside HGV driver opportunity for drivers with experience in driving long wheel-based vans, 7.5-tonne, or HGV vehicles for a new contract at London Heathrow Airport (TW6 3PF).

This is a long-term contract with permanent opportunities for the right individual.

For these Airside HGV Driver roles, we are offering:
Basic Pay rate £14.37 p/h + shift allowance (£15.89 p/h – £30000/annum)
Overtime £28.74 p/h.
Bank Holidays £28.74 p/h.
Guaranteed minimum of 37.5 hrs per week and overtime available
Weekly pay or monthly pay.
Fixed shift pattern working 8-hour shifts.
Free parking is available in a ULEZ-free zone.

Duties of the Airside HGV Driver will include:
Driving an 18-tonne vehicle to deliver and collect cargo, baggage and courier mail from airside operations to and from multiple aircraft.
Assist with the loading of palletised items onto vehicles using specialist loading equipment.
Perform airside driving in a safe manner.

Requirements for this Airside HGV Driver role:
Aged 25+
Valid manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) or HGV license.
Experience in driving either long wheel-based or HGV vehicles.
5-year checkable history and clear criminal record check
Ability to work shifts between 0600 hrs – 2200 hrs, working 4 days on and 2 days off shift pattern.
Ability to pass a driver’s medical and colour vision assessment.

Any applicants currently working at Heathrow Airport with airside driving experience will be highly desirable.

All applicants will be subject to a criminal record check and a 5-year background check as part of the recruitment and vetting process.
