We have a number of opportunities to join our Home Insurance Customer Facing Claims Team as a Large Loss Personal Claims Consultant dealing with claims that are over £50,000 in value, as well as lower value complex claims including escape of oil and cases involving fatalities. This team delivers tailored face to face solutions to enable our customers to get back to normality swiftly, at what can be a difficult and stressful time for them. We underwrite all our own policies across all our brands, which has led to a great opportunity to work directly with our customers through the claims process.
As a Large Loss Personal Claims Consultant you will visit our customers and make expert assessments to help the customer understand how we will help them through the claims process.
In this role you’ll need to correctly interpret policies and apply insurance principles and good practice, and secure appropriate evidence to support the claim decision. Having proven knowledge and experience in these skills is essential to the job.
An insurance professional with extensive proven experience in handling high net worth and complex household insurance claims, you’ll also need to demonstrate a passion for customer service, and be able to establish and maintain a good relationship with our customers during what can be a longer end to end process for these complex claims.
As this is a home-based role, it would also be desirable if you have had previous experience of home working.
We have opportunities in Scotland, and in London/Home Counties/South East England. You will need to be based close to either of these areas as regular travel to visit customers in these locations is an essential element of the role.
Ideally you’ll have an insurance qualification such as Cert CII or Cert CILA, although this is not essential.
