Pennine Recruitment, operating as an employment business, are recruiting for one of the UK’s most recognised building merchants and are looking for experienced Class 2 HIAB drivers,
This role is very much a customer facing role and will involve delivering to both commercial building sites and residential properties and developments.
Due to the start times it is important that you have your own means of transport.
What you need:
Minimum of 6 months recent commercial HGV 2 driving experience in the past 12 months
Valid or HIAB Lorry Loader Ticket/Certificate
Valid CPC / Digi Tacho
No more than 6 points on your driving licence
No DR10’s or TT99’s
Over the age of 23 (due to insurance restrictions)
Excellent customer service skills

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
