Working with the Senior Manager(s) of Origination and Structuring, you’ll be responsible for the planning and management of project pipeline management information to inform management, governance committees and wider business area’s of project statuses, including support in preparing internal and external presentations.
You’ll support in the participation of competitive tender processes within agreed timescales and to a high quality; ensuring all stakeholders across Insurance (and other relevant LBG divisions) are on board and able to support planned deliverables,deliver to an appropriate governance structure (including understanding financial, legal, operational and other process requirements, including approval mechanisms and in particular the interaction between each) to ensure sign-off from the various areas prior to the completion of a bulk annuity transaction.
Responsibility for working across business units to identify appropriate resources to work on bulk annuity projects and capacity to support as required is key, alongside ensuring full interaction with other areas of the business, including Operations and Finance, is undertaken to deliver successful on-boarding of new bulk annuity policies following contract signing.
You will monitor trends, opportunities and competitor activities in the bulk annuity market to identify opportunities and threats in the external environment, build and maintain internal networks to identify best practice and build the profile of the Bulk Annuity area.
You’ll possess excellent Relationship management skills and have defined benefit pensions knowledge, ideally with bulk annuity experience. You’ll have strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail; providing external market and internal management information to add insight and assist in business decision-making.
The ability to deliver in high pressure environment whilst maintaining accuracy and quality is essential, and you’ll have a good understanding of the regulatory and governance environment within the insurance regime.
