OPX Logistics are exciting to expand our business and support a new client in Southampton. We are looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E category) Drivers for our Supermarket client in Southampton.

You will need to load at the RDC and unload at the store, ensuring pallets are put in the correct locations and the correct amount of pallets have been delivered.

This is a physical role due to the loading and unloading.

Start Times: From 14:00-18:00 and 22:00 With an Average of 10-12 Hours per shift.
Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off with extra days available
Pay: £180 per shift which equates to £32,760 basic 4 on 4 off.
The 4 on 4 off allows for doing up to 3 or 4 overtimes a fortnight (hours dependent)
In real terms, if a driver does 40 overtime shifts per year, (less than 1 per week) their salary would be £39,960. LOTS OF EXTRA SHIFTS AVAILABLE.

The Person:

As a representative of OPX you will be of a professional nature with a can do attitude, show willingness and flexibility.

Duties Include:

Ops 13 Checks
Operating Fridge Trailers
Loading/Un-loading Vehicles
Supermarket Store Deliveries
Use of electric pallet trucks
Compliance Checks
Miles Per Gallon Monitoring
Infringement Management
Drivers will be trained in house on electric Pump Trucks and Jacks to assist with loading and unloading at the RDC and Stores.
