HGV 2 / 7.5t Driver
Location: Severn Beach

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Severn Beach who are looking for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis.

Shifts and pay rates as a HGV 2 driver :

Days 07.00am start until finish.
Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling. (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
Permanent salary circa £35k + benefits + 30 days annual leave
£14.50 P/H paye.
£18.50 P/H umbrella.
Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 Driver :

Duties include driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with an experienced driver’s mate or driver.
2-man crew delivery of goods to customers’ homes or flats.
Unloading goods and delivering to room of choice.
Completing paperwork.
Heavy lifting is involved.
About you:

Have a 7.5t licence or above, CPC and Digi card.
Have excellent customer service & communication skills.
Be able to work long days as required. We cannot specify what time you will finish.
You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start, we will arrange this.
You must have held your licence a minimum 6 months. No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT’s or IN10’s.
