O’Hara Bros Surfacing Ltd have a vacancy for an experienced HGV and plant fitter to join our ever growing team. You will be one of 2 fitters based out of Pinner, London.

We are a family run business and have been operating for more han 30yrs. Job for life for the right candidate.

Must be flexible as we are a very reactive company. You could be in the middle of a service and get called out to a site for a broken down machine. No two days are the same.

We operate a fleet of Scania’s, Fords, VW’s and varoius road surfacing equiptment. Ideally you will have experience in all the above as we carry out our own PMI checks on the HGV’s.

Ideally candidate to have an Irtech qulification.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for repair, maintenance and inspections of HGV’s, vans and plant machinery.

Hours

– Mon to Fri 7am to 5pm, Sat 7am to 2pm

-Night call outs when required

Qualifications:

– Irtech qualified
– HGV licence
– Strong attention to detail and precision in work
– Ability to operate fabrication machinery and hand tools effectively

Preferred Skills:
– Experience HGV’s, vans, road surfacing plant
– Previous experience of roller brake tester
