Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver/Groundwork Labourer to join our team in Staffordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials and equipment to various sites, supporting our groundworks projects with professionalism and efficiency. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our groundwork construction services.
Responsibilities

Operate Rigid trucks, Grab and roll on trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials to designated locations.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Collaborate with site managers and team members to coordinate deliveries.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation.
Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
Also to assist as a labour role within the groundwork trade to assist the rest of the team for where required.
Uphold safety standards at all times to protect yourself and others.
Qualifications
Valid UK driving license suitable for commercial vehicles. Class 2 essential.
Proven experience as a truck driver. Also within the groundwork trade if possible.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
Ability to perform routine vehicle checks.
Good communication skills for liaising with team members.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
CSCS card required
