Hours: 45 hours per week

We are currently seeking HGV Driver Operatives to join our crews at the Sandford depot to deliver the programme of work and emergency reactive call-out for the Gully Cleansing operation, including day and night shifts.

North Somerset Environment Company Ltd. (NSEC) works in partnership with North Somerset Council and delivers the following services:

Maintaining 1,100km of North Somerset highways including surface repairs, winter maintenance, gully management, drainage and kerbing repairs, signage and linemarking, and 24/7 emergency response services.
HGV Driver and mobile plant training, vehicle servicing and maintenance, event cleaning and other environmental and highway maintenance specialisms to commercial businesses

We’re looking for a team of two Drivers who will share driving and operative duties and have an aptitude for outdoor work and physical activity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience of driving and operating similar vehicles.
Full UK Driving licence for correct class of vehicle (minimum category C).
CPC training.
Knowledge of Kaarbontech software or similar gully cleansing software.
Ability to follow health and safety procedures and safe systems of work for highway working.
