Wells Fargo has a new opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to join the team based in London. This Network Engineer will be responsible for the support and administration of LAN/WAN voice and data environments and to work with extended teams to assist in the planning and execution of network infrastructure in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and administration of LAN/WAN voice and data environments.
  • Assist with extended teams to plan and execute network infrastructure in the EMEA region.
  • Provide 2nd level support of the LAN/WAN voice and data environments.
  • Assist with network analysis and support of critical network systems.
  • Represent EMEA region on small to medium complexity changes and trouble shooting issues in region.
  • Assist with Business as Usual activities to support day to day network operations in a banking environment.
  • Assist and collaborate with network technology partners (mainly in the USA to negotiate, collaborate and plan network roadmaps and support EMEA impacting projects).
  • Oversight of 3rd party suppliers performing installation work.
  • Customer focused, ITIL experience preferred.
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent experience.

  • Hands on experience in a large multinational environment.
  • Experience working with large U.S based enterprise operations.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols with the ability to troubleshoot with a global team.
  • Hands on experience with switches, routers, hubs, servers, firewalls, wireless, TCP/IP, ONS,UDP, IPT VoIP, QoS, MPLS, 802.  x, TACAC.
  • Familiar with formal change management procedures (Remedy).
  • Experience troubleshooting issues working with international technology teams via Conference Bridge or other remote communication methods.
  • Experience with NICE call recording or other call recording technologies including installation, configuration and support an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Based VOIP and AV systems.
  • Familiarity with trader voice systems. Implementation of Siemens / Unify Trader Voice an advantage.
  • Familiar with network security in a large multinational l regulated environment (preferably financial services).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting tasks.
