Full job description
Thornbridge Timber, part of the National Timber Group are looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to join a busy team based at Anniesland Business Park Unit 10, Glasgow, G13 1EU

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable team player, and an experienced HGV Class 2 driver. A HIAB licence is an essential requirement for this role.

Duties will include but not limited to:-

Safely operate Class 2 vehicles with cranes or lifting tools attached.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery and collection of loads.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs.
Communicate effectively with clients, employers, and customers.
Willingness to travel to different clients and work in various environments.
Ensure that the Company Health & Safety policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times
Attributes:-

Valid Class 2 HGV (C) license.
Valid HIAB Certificate.
Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Minimum of 1 year of HGV driving experience (preferred but not essential).
Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
Excellent driving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
