Multistaff has gained a new contract in the Tipton area and require HGV Class 1 C+E drivers to join our extensive team of flexible employees, working with a Well-known SME that operates general haulage, full or part load services for larger pallet networks.

Our client is looking for HGV Class 1 C+E drivers to join their team on, on-going contracts. This well-known company is offering a comprehensive package to suitable candidates.

You will be working in a team of drivers that work on several different types of route structures these include.

Trunking route’s to RDC, NDC and CDC’s for major retail outlets across the UK
Shuttle run’s to Local Hubs in Leicester, Manchester, Bristol or Frankley
Multi drop this could be between 1 to 5 drops or collections to businesses throughout the midland’s region.
Please note that you will be expected to do a combination of the routes and can’t just do the trunking.

Our Client currently has a mixed fleet of C+E lorries with curtain side trailers, all are very maintained to limit the possibilities of cancelation or VOR trucks.

Please note that there is also a Mix between automatic and manual lorries available and the client can’t guarantee what truck you get on a daily basis as they run 24 hour operation.

So, you will be required to driver both transmission types.

Shift lengths can be long but in keeping with tachograph law start times can vary but normal start times would be between 04:00am & 08:00am on days and 16:00 to 22:00 on nights

This client can offer ongoing work Monday to Friday / Days or Nights and weekend working should you choose to do it

You will Require.

UK Driving Licence with HGV C+E entitlement.
Valid UK Digital Card
Valid UK CPC Card
Experience as a C+E Driver is required with a minimum 1year driving experience for insurance reasons.
Clean Licence with No penalty points and no DD, DR, TT, or CU. offences showing.
Pay:

Days £15.50 per hour PAYE Monday to Friday

Nights £16.50 per hour PAYE Monday to Friday

Weekend £19.00 per hour PAYE Saturday / Sunday
