Job Summary
Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for a JETVAC HGV 2 DRIVER / OPERATOR for a well established construction and drainage company based in Leigh to join their water jetting team.
You’ll be leading a two-person team operating the high spec jetting equipment and jet vacuumation units. You will be dealing with road and highway drainage related issues, including blockages, clearing pipes using the high pressure water jetting and gully cleaning during regular maintenance programmes.
Although based at the depot, you may be on the road for much of your shift and have responsibility to keep to a schedule. And you’ll visit different types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial to specialist sectors like rail, road, utility, and so on, right across the local north west area.
Please note Inductions for this role will include a drug test.
This will lead into a permanent position for the right person. Full uniform / PPE is provided.
About You:
You do not need to have experience as training is provided.
You MUST have experience using a split shift gearbox.
You MUST have a valid Class 2 driving licence, CPC.

About the role:
Pay is £12 per hour
Hours 7am – 6pm Approx (Overtime Available)
Days of work: Monday to Sunday with 2 days off.
You will receive further training as you progress
CSCS card is NOT needed
All hours through the week after 40 hours are time and a half.
Saturdays are time and a half.
Sundays are double time.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
