Full job description
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for permanent roles working days, afternoons and nights at our busy Droitwich depot. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to NDC’ and RDC’S, trunking work, and shop deliveries also. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.

It is an immediate start for the successful candidate and a full-time role!

Shifts:

Friday to Tuesday – start time between 00:00 and 03:00am
Day pay rates:

Monday – Friday £15.05 (overtime after 47.5hrs £16.93)
Saturday £16.93
Sunday and Bank Holidays £22.58
Nights pay rates:

Monday – Friday £17.20 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.35)
Saturday £19.35
Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.80
30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Your journey:

Site Induction.
Basic understanding of Health and Safety
Undertake relevant training to support the undertaking of the role

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
In date Digi & CPC Card.
No more than 6 points for minor offences.

Willing to work weekends.
Motivated and open to learn new skills.
Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:

Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
Preparing vehicles for delivery.
Completing vehicles checks.
Refuelling vehicles.
The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
