Full job description
HGV I / C+E drivers working out of 2 different sites in Ely / Stretham. You will be looking for Monday to Friday work, with start times from 0500 – 0800.

Curtain Sided units, delivering and collecting Palleted items, strapping and securing your load is an important part of this job. No Handballing, but you will be expected to pull curtains and check off loads.

Goods carried do vary from pallets of beans, sports equipment, bags of cement, sugar, Turf etc. Typically you can expect a 10-12 hour day, some days can be longer.

Polite and professional, with a minimum 12 months UK Driving Experience is essential, you will be working as part of a team of drivers and the traffic office will treat you as if you are one of there own drivers.

Monday to Friday £16.00 Per Hour (Days) Ltd and PAYE welcome

You will need:

Full UK Licence (12 Months minimum UK Driving Experience)
Max 6 penalty points (IN10, DD, DR, DG points need not apply)
DCPC and Digi Card
Fluent spoken English
Prepared and able to conduct daily defect sheets and safety checks
Physically able to pull curtain 4-5 times per day.
