We are now looking for dedicated and technically skilled individual who wants to develop their engineering career within this sector and who are committed to providing the most exceptional levels of service to our valued and high-profile customers.

The role itself will provide a wide range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers centralised around our local centre here in Cramlington.

What’s involved?

Operating a Variety of Tanker units, you will carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains, whilst delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise. Predominantly you will be carrying our pre-planned maintenance works and in some cases emergency reactive work
Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains
Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
Carrying out surveys
Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year
What are we looking for?

An experienced HGV Driver Class 2 and with sector experience in drainage
A positive, flexible, can-do attitude
Want to be part of an exciting, growing, and progressive business with an increasingly formidable brand presence
Be willing to work occasional/unsociable hours
Hold a full UK driving licence
HGV Class 2 driving license
Team player
Must live in the Cambridge, Ely, kings Lynn, bury St Edmunds, area
