Full job description
With over 30 years in the transport and warehousing industry, McGregor Logistics offers a solution for all general haulage requirements, from full load deliveries, Biomass sourcing and delivering, Pallet Distribution (Palletways), European delivery service, Warehousing and HGV vehicle servicing and repairs.

With its head office based in Doncaster, and operations in Cardiff and Tilbury Docks, McGregor Logistics operates a large and diverse fleet enabling us to provide a reliable and consistent service to our customers.

We now have a vacancy for a Transport Customer Services Administrator to join our friendly team based at our brand new site in Armthorpe Doncaster. The depot operates as a pallet network depot, completing collections and deliveries around the Yorkshire region.

Role Responsibilities

Assist in the Briefing and de-briefing of drivers
Customer KPI reporting
Monitor customer deliveries
Customer Account Management
Management Reports on Customer Trading Profiles
Dealing with inbound calls
Dealing with customer queries
Quotations
Customer On-Boarding
Booking deliveries in with multiple delivery points
Process invoice queries
General administration duties
Person Requirements

Excellent customer service skills
Experience within the transport industry preferred
Experience of working in a Pallet Network would be ideal
Effective communication skills with a professional approach
Excellent administration skills
Attention to detail
Organised, able to prioritise and multi-task
IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages
Team player, self-motivated, flexible and confident
Hours

Days of work Monday to Friday, plus Saturday morning on a rota (1 in 4)
Hours 09:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturdays – 06:00 – 12:00.
Flexibility required for later finishes

Basic Salary £25,000-£28,000 depending on experience
Overtime paid for Saturday rota shifts worked
Overtime paid for hours worked over basic
