Full Job Description
We are seeking applications for Heavy Recovery Operators to work from our Head Office based in Burwell, Cambridgeshire.

Applicants will be required to work within a shift system which includes nights & weekends on a call-out basis.

Duties include:

Attending broken down or accident-damaged vehicles, preparing them for recovery prior to towing to a predetermined destination
Lift & tow commercial vehicles, coaches & motor homes.
Slide bed recovery of cars and light commercials
Winching of stranded vehicles.
Completion of required job sheets, utilising APEX
a level of understanding regarding tachograph /domestic driving regulations.
a high level of customer care skills.
The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in commercial recovery is preferred however full training can be offered to the right candidate.
Full HGV Class 1 required
CPC
Digital Tachograph
Preferably hold IVR or equivalent training records for light and/or heavy recovery
A proven track record as a reference will be required.
Strong commitment to health & safety.
Mechanical experience required.
Vetting checks will be carried out on successful candidates
Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
