About the Role
Wells Fargo are seeking a Vice President to join our International Mergers & Acquisitions team based in London.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for independently (or as part of a team) working with clients and/or handling transactions. Individuals at this level have a strong knowledge of the firms products & services, marketplace & clients.

Requirements
- The successful candidate will have exemplary M&A and general investment banking technical skills, probably developed from Analyst to Associate/VP level in a comparable investment bank.
- The successful candidate will also be a person of unquestioned integrity, with strong commercial judgment, first class communication and inter-personal skills, be a team player and naturally collegiate in approach.
- A strong educational background is also a requirement.
- We are sector-agnostic but are seeking someone who can take a leading role overseeing the execution of cross border M&A transactions and who in the medium term has the skills and drive to develop into a sector-focused coverage role.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
