National & International HGV Driver

We have various prestigious Logistics clients in the South East of England who are looking for experienced professional drivers based in the UK to drive in Western Europe.

Job Description:

Loading/unloading of the vehicle.
Careful loading and securing of the load.
Multi-drop will be needed.
Mega Tautliner & Euroliner trailers experience advantageous.
Box Trailers.
Containers.
Dealing with customers face to face.
Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
Attending regular training sessions.
Nights out & occasional weekends away from home needed.
Be able to drive Right-Hand Drive Trucks.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Personal Attributes:

Must hold a (Class 1) C+E clean licence.
Must have a min 18 months of European experience for insurance reasons.
Drivers must be able to understand English both speaking verbal & written.
Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Working to strict deadlines.
Confident, polite and a team player.
Good European geographical knowledge of the UK mainly with Western Europe Italy Holland France.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated, and above all punctual.
