LGV Class 2 Driver – Immediate Start

LINKS Recruitment Group are pleased to announce we have been appointed as the Recruiter of choice for a prestigious client who are seeking professional Class 2 Drivers for their business immediately.

Due to an increased demand of work, we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who wishes to employ Class 2 Drivers to work as part of a double manned team, making deliveries to customer properties.

Working Hours:

Hours: 48 average per week.

Starting times between: 04:00 – 06:00 (AM)

Rota:

Our client operates a 4-week rolling rota, whereby Sunday’s will always be a rest day.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1 – Monday to Friday
Week 2 – Tues to Saturday
Week 3 – Monday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday (3 Rest days – Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday)
Week 4 – Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Saturday (3 Rest days – Thursday, Friday & Sunday)

This rota will require you to work 3 Saturdays out of 4.

You will be paid 48 hours per week minimum, even on your 4-day working weeks. For any hours you work over the minimum, you will be paid.

Position:

Duties for our client include deliveries whereby you will be required to unload the vehicle and deliver the goods to customers safely and without damage. The items for delivery must always be handled with care and delivered with the best customer service.

The items for delivery are handled by a double manned team as they can be heavy. Our client’s priority is always the safety of its personnel and customers therefore, deliveries are always made as a double-manned team.

You will need to meet the following criteria:

· LGV Class C Licence (Class 2)

· CPC Card

· Digital Tachograph Card

· No more than 6 points due to insurances purposes

· Able to agree to DBS check

Driving Assessments will be held at the depot of work.

We agree to pay for assessments successfully completed.
