We have exciting opportunities for HGV Class 1 Drivers (Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing depot team. We work around the clock to satisfy our Customers so for you, this means we can offer you flexibility and a choice of Days or Nights. No Overnight stays, Start & End Point will be our Knowsley Depot!

What We Can Offer You:

Class 1 Driver Day Shift – £15.00 per hour

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are worked on a 4 on 4 off basis, comprising of 4 x 11 hour shifts. In addition to our competitive salary, we’ll offer you up to 20 days’ annual leave (incl bank holidays) & 3% contribution into your pension.

What You’ll Do:

Our HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to other stations. For some routes, this could be delivering or collecting loads from our suppliers hubs or depots in their network & be delivering to one or more of our Delivery Stations (this is where Couriers pick up their parcels for delivery to the household).

All our Drivers will keep paperwork updated on their route and as a team player, will assist depot staff from time to time. We know the great British roads and weather don’t always play nicely, so you’ll need to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

You’ll need a full UK driving licence
HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements for a minimum of two years.
driver’s CPC and digital tachograph.
Excellent communication skills
A safety-first mindset
