Fresh Freight Group are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team at their site in Gateshead.

Dayshift
Salary 30,465.60

Meal Allowance 108.33 per month

About the Job:

Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use.
Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues.
Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
Maintain all health and safety standards.
Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested.
Comply with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations.
Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy.
Pallet truck / Tail lift deliveries required.
Your knowledge and experience:

To hold a full LGV C&E (Class 1) licence for minimum of two years
To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
To own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good communication skills & geographical knowledge
BECOME AN OWNER-DRIVER AND WORK FOR YOURSELF! AVERAGE EARNINGS: £70,000 – £80,000 PER YEAR. AVAILABLE ANYWHERE IN THE UK.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
