Kenect Drivers are currently recruiting for new or experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on an ongoing/ permanent basis to suit preference for our Rocester, Staffordshire based client.
This is a great opportunity for a driver who is looking for ongoing work all year round.
The work involves the following duties:
Delivering agricultural/ machinery to ports around the UK
Driver will piggy back with another driver
Full training will be given to all drivers (riding shotgun with another driver until comfortable)
Machine strapping is preferred but no essential as training will be given as usual.
Average drivers hours = 50-55 hours per week.
The following shifts are available:
02:00 – 04:00 Monday – Friday
12:00 – 14:00 Monday – Friday
Drivers will be able to work one or the other to suit preference.
What pay will I receive?
AM Starts – £12.00 – £12.50
PM/ Afternoons – £12.50 – £13.00
Saturday’s – £16.00
Sunday’s – £18.00
All shifts are paid at a minimum of 8 hours.

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
