Role: Transport Planner

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000

Shift: Mon – Fri

Location: St Neots

A successful Transport Admin who have enjoyed sustained growth by delivering excellent customer service with a friendly and collaborative approach based in the Bedford area.

Transport Planner responsibilities:

In this position you will monitor deliveries, communicating with customers,
drivers and other depots to understand the status of each run,
You will help plan routes and loads to maximise vehicle fill rates and ensure efficiency.
Build and Maintain strong relationships with existing clients

The successful Transport Planner will require the following:

Confident with IT/ SAP systems – Ideally experience using ESP or GTS
Familiar with legal compliance in a Freight / Transport / Distribution environment.
A proven record in Transport Plannery
Knowledge or experience of the HGV industry
Be motivated and energetic personality
Strong communication skills
