HGV Class 1/Tramper

We are actively recruiting for experienced HGV Drivers, Class 1/Tramper to join a team of over 60 HGV Drivers.

You will be required to work flexible shifts 5/7 and occasional weekends. Various positions are available.

Role and Responsibilities of our HGV Driver / Class 1 Driver:

Carry out multi-drop and commercial deliveries throughout the UK
Carry out a mix of short and long-distance work
Help with loading and unloading during collection and delivery at our customers’ premises
Ensure load security at all time
Follow, promote and communicate the use of safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company’s procedures
Demonstrate an effective working relationship with colleagues and our clients/customers, showing a pro-active approach to resolving potential issues
Act as a Company’s Ambassador by maintaining a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Qualifications and Education Requirements of our HGV Driver / Class 1 Driver:

Valid (C+E) licence and Tacho card
Up-to-date CPC
A minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Class 1 driver is desirable
Good understanding of Maths, English and UK geography
Eligibility to work in the UK
Preferred Qualities and Skills of our HGV Driver / Class 1 Driver:

A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work well under pressure
A team player approach
Good levels of physical fitness
