HGV Class 2 – 1 Bootcamp

JODA Freight is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our Bootcamp Scheme

· Be prepared to go through Class 1 Training with the companies support

· Average of 2 nights out a week when on Class 1

The role is full-time and permanent, 45 hours a week. Weekday and weekend overtime available but not guaranteed.

Salary: £22,500 to £26,000 per year depending on hours worked, salary can rise up to £36,000.00 when on Class 1.

Role and Responsibilities of our HGV Class 2 Driver

Carry out multi-drop and commercial deliveries throughout the UK.
Work flexible shifts 5/7, including occasional overnight and weekends
Undertake a mix of short and long-distance work
Ensure load security at all time
Help with loading and unloading during deliveries at our customers’ premises
Follow, promote and communicate the use of safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company’s procedures
Demonstrate an effective working relationship with colleagues and customers, showing a pro-active approach to resolving any potential issues
Be an ambassador of the company image by maintaining a customer focused approach to service
Qualifications of our HGV Class 2 Driver

Applicants must hold a valid (C) Licence and Tacho card
Up-to-date CPC
Good understanding of Maths, English and UK geography
Eligibility to work in the UK
Skills and Qualities of our HGV Class 2 Driver

A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Good levels of physical fitness
Flexibility on working hours and location
Be prepared to move from Class 2 to Class 1 tramping with Company’s support
We are a logistics company based near Keighley, which was established in 1986. We run a modern fleet of over 50 trucks and 3 dedicated warehouses, providing customers with transport and distribution solutions across the UK and Europe.
