The candidate will work as part of a distributed team on the Risk Central big data application. They will own key deliverables for the application and will be responsible for taking ideas from concept through to implementation. They will participate in design discussions on the application to resolve current challenges and identify future opportunities and usage patterns for the platform.Experience with applications built upon big data solutions, ideally involving Hadoop and Spark
High level of proficiency in more than one general purpose programming languages such as Scala, Java, Python
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Familiarity with agile software development process
