A new opportunity has arisen in our business for 2 Grab Lorry Drivers to join our team.

Based in Essex with the majority of work being in the South East region.

The Candidate will need a Class 2 Licence for 1 year plus and 1 years Grab Experience.

The individual must be reliable, self motivated and flexible.

This role offers extensive training and prospects for the right candidate.

The role is a full time permanent position starting immediately.

Responsibilities:
Ability to Operate the Grab Lorry in a safe and efficient way following all company policies and procedures.
Carry out daily defect checks reporting any faults to the Transport Manager.
Deliver and collect materials on selected routes allocated by the Transport Manager.
Liase with Customers and/or Site Personnel in a Safe and Professional Manner.
Ensure the Lorry and it’s Load are safe and secure at all times.
Ensure the Safety of members of the public and operational staff whilst the HGV is operating.
To complete all required work and/or Paperwork required.
Build Strong relationships with Customers and/or Site Personnel.
Act Professionally at all times.
Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety Regulations are met. Including wearing full PPE at all times.
Have experience of dealing with Customers in person.
Good Geographical knowledge.
Extensive knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachograph Rules and Legislation.

Rates of pay to be discussed.

2 – 4 week probational period applies.

To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
