INVESTMENT BANKING DIVISION
 
Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
 
Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) has 3 main functions:
 
(1) Serves as the business development team focused on generating potential revenue streams across Investment Banking and IMD (GSAM and PWM) on the back of financing, M&A and related business activities.
(2) Acts as dedicated IBD resource to family-/founder-owned corporate clients within the PWM franchise and evaluates strategic, financing and/or investing opportunities for the firm.
(3) Provides Investment Banking coverage to large Family Investment Firms, delivering clients access to direct, private-equity style investment opportunities including strategic M&A and financings, as well as offering ongoing strategic advisory on existing portfolio companies.
 
Candidate would be responsible for working with the team in these 3 capacities.

Skills / Requirements:
 
Current experience in an investment banking role or equivalent position including strategic advisory, relationship management and/or corporate balance sheet evaluation.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong base of investment banking technical knowledge.  The candidate will also be a self-starter who can identify commercial opportunities and synergies between IBD and IMD.
