Hough Green Garage are a well-established family business with over 30 years in the breakdown industry, we are currently looking for a Vehicle Recovery Operator (VRO) who will drive and operate various HGV’s utilising specific equipment to assist with the loading/unloading of broken-down and accident damage vehicles.

This is a great opportunity to join a Company who pride themselves on helping and supporting all local police authorities, major breakdown organisations and their customers in the movement of broken down and accident damaged vehicles.

Due to the nature of work undertaken, the successful applicant must pass the relevant police authority vetting to be able to complete elements of the role.

As one of our Recovery Drivers you will be working in a fast passed ever changing working environment, facilitating the rescue and recovery of our vast customer base.

Requirements:

· HGV class 1 or 2 driving licence required along with in date CPC and Tacho card

· Previous industry knowledge would be an advantage but not essential

· Able to work flexible hours

· Clean and presentable and of good nature

· Strong communicator

· Forklift training preferred but not essential

The Role

· 4 on 2 off or 6 on 3 off – Rotating shift patterns

· 8 hour shifts available on various start & finish times

· Training provided

· Competitive rates of pay to be discussed at interview level

· Full uniform and PPE equipment supplied

· NO ON CALL REQUIRED
