HGV 1 DRIVERS WANTED

Our client, one of the top logistics companies in the UK are currently looking for new candidates to work as HGV 1 drivers in Hoddesdon

The drivers will be delivering to shops and petrol stations. The HGV class 1 drivers must make sure that the deliveries are made on time and in good conditions.

Weekend work is required.

Benefits:

Weekly pay
£14/hour Monday to Friday
£15/hour Saturday
£16/hour Sunday
Minimum hours paid are variable depending on route (between 9h and 11.5h)
Weekly bookings (plan for following week is received every Thursday)
Main Duties:

Delivering to shops and petrol stations
Approx. 10-12 drops
Start times between 03:00 AM – 04:00 AM (AM shifts)
Start times between 12:00 PM – 23:00 PM (PM shifts)
Requirements:

Full UK License
Valid CPC
Valid Digi Card
Min 6 months experience in UK on HGV1
No more than 6 points on license
Good English communication skills

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
