This is an amazing opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and market-changing business. Reporting to the COO, the Head of Operational Performance will be key to our future growth and success globally. You are a driven individual with an eye for detail and the ability to get things done.

You will be based in London with a remit covering US and our European territories (Berlin and Amsterdam), as well as any future markets Funding Circle enters.

As the Head of Operational Performance, Global you will…

• Global responsibility for speed of service / decision turnaround time for our business loan applications, ensuring that all teams are meeting their daily, weekly etc. KPIs
• Accountable for driving the delivery of operational, business or legislative change implementations into Operations
• Ensure that the Operational teams are scalable and efficient, with a heavy bias on the future growth
• Support operational teams in delivering excellent customer experience by providing timely and accurate forecasting, resourcing/capacity planning and reporting
• Work closely with Global Head of Programmes to ensure strategic alignment and adopt and embed relevant change management and process excellence disciplines across the business
• Partner with business areas to create process excellence plan and drive and embed global continuous improvement capability
• Work with local MDs and domain heads to determine continuous improvement goals and liaise with finance to build budgets and validate results
• Budget responsibility, identifying and driving P&L improvement through operational change and efficiencies and communicating this to Senior/Executive management
• Deliver on the financial performance requirements for Operations
• Work with business controls risk and compliance to implement the enterprise risk management framework across global Ops departments
• Accountable for quality assurance processes and procedures across the department
• Drive the development of supporting technologies such as Workforce Optimisation and MI databases
• Act on behalf of the COO as instructed and during their absence.
• Manage small team to deliver the above

You’ve been there and done this…

• *5 years+ demonstrable experience in a similar fast paced ecommerce, Fintech or fast growth environment*
• S6 black belt or similar
• Experience in senior leadership position driving continuous improvement
• Experience managing and working in a matrix management environment
• Experience in project management and demonstrable delivery of business change programs
• Proven track record of delivering sustained improvement in business KPIs
• Highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, ideally across different geographies with awareness of cultural nuances
• Extensive people management experience, ideally with some remote direct reports
• Willingness to travel frequently
