Responsible for brand design and creative this is an exceptional, career defining opportunity to be a driving force in creating one of the world’s few exceptional global brands focused on small businesses.
Reporting to the CMO you will be responsible for inspiring a creative team and developing our global brand identity as well as ensuring excellence in everything that we do.
Areas of responsibility:
Brand
- Evolving and defining our unique identity.
- Ownership and production of brand guidelines
- Ensuring every designer understands and champions the brand guidelines, helping us be the best we can be
- Developing processes to make sure everybody within the business follows and embraces the brand ethos and guidelines and that our identity is strengthened over time.
- Working closely with the global marketing team to constantly push creative boundaries
- Ensure we are constantly challenging ourselves and the team to aim high when developing any creative material. Be that website landing pages through to major advertising campaigns
- Management of creative third parties, be that agencies, designers or photographers
- Managing a global team of marketing designers responsible for delivering to the needs of the business
- Creating a collaborative forum with the product design teams to ensure all work is on brand and learnings are shared
Global engagement
- Bringing all markets together to foster a strong working relationship and global brand ethos
You will have
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience working in agency or start-up environments as a senior or lead creative
- Experience managing multiple Designers and or Art Directors ideally across geographies
- Experience of working in or with digital businesses and a deep understanding of their business cycles
- A passion for translating business needs into creative or design based solutions
- An appreciation for digital design and user experience
