Full Job Description
Halo Recruit are recruiting for a number of experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers based in the Matlock area, for work on multiple assignments for our Client, who is a leading electrical and civil engineering contractor.

With various shifts available, including morning shifts and night shifts,

As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Driving a HGV class 2 vehicle with a lorry mounted crane (HIAB)
Performing 6-10 Drops per shift
Some handballing duties will be required
Ensuring goods are safely secured
Completing LGV vehicle defect and maintaining logs
Completing delivery paperwork
Working on an average shift length between 8-10 hours
For this position, your essential qualities and requirements must include:

Valid C category entitlement on your licence which has been held for a minimum of 1 year
Category C5 (Grab)
Hold a HIAB qualification (ALLMI) preferred.
No more than 6 Points/endorsements on your licence
Having good customer service as you will be dealing with customers
Holding a valid CPC and Digital tacho card
Shifts and Pay

Day shifts – 7am start – £12.09 per hour (PAYE)
Night shifts – 6pm start – £16.08 per hour (PAYE)
Some overnight lodging may be required, and in this instance a further £25 per night lodge allowance is paid. Hotels are fully funded by the Company.
