Class 2 HGV Driver-Valeter
Huddersfield (HD7)

c£30,000.00 Per Annum
(Monthly pay)

Standard hours:
8:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Friday (30 mins unpaid break) + occasional Saturday mornings with notice
8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Hours worked above 40 are paid at time & a half: £18.00 per hour & hours worked on Sundays or Bank holidays are at double time: £24.00 per hour

Who would suit this position?
Someone with a Class 2 License and a full CPC (New Passes welcome!)
Someone who enjoys a working week with variety (not just being sat down all day, every day!)
Someone with excellent communication skills whom is happy to build relationships with new & regular customers
Someone who takes pride in the presentation of their vehicle and is physically fit, able and willing to valet the trucks prior to them going on hire

Duties include:
Delivering and Collecting HGVs; driving to and from customers’ premises throughout the UK (you will be followed through/dropped off by someone in a car – No trade plating involved!
Filling out ‘check sheets’ when you drop-off and pick-up a vehicle to report any existing/new damages
Recovery – Collecting broken down company vehicles on a specialist, state of the art recovery truck (full IVR training will be given)
Valeting vehicles in the yard

CLASS 2 License Holders – hourly rates breakdown:
 40 hours x £12.00 = £480 x 52 weeks = £24,960.00
 5 hours x £18.00 = £90 x 52 weeks = £4,680.00
 + 7 weeks x £30 for being on stand-by for recovery call-outs 1 in every 7 weeks = £210
TOTAL Average Earnings Per Annum = £29,850.00
