Halmer Recruit are Recruiting for a number of Class 2 Tanker drivers for our client based in Surrey.
Our client is the second largest LPG supplier in the UK and has over 30 years’ experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.
Key responsibilities of the role will include;
Carrying out relevant daily vehicle Safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures
Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained
Meet our clients driver performance standards
Loading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures
Deliveries to customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures
What do we want from you?
Hold a Cat C (HGV Class 2 ) License
Possess an ADR in ‘Tanks’ with minimum Class 2 gasses (packages advantageous)
Driver qualification card (CPC)
Be able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards Safety
Be committed to provide excellent customer service
Be reliable, flexible, honest trustworthy and hard working
Have a safe driving record
Normal working week is 45 hours at standard rate with usually 10hrs over time paid at x1.5

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.
We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator's Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won't spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
